One solution could be that the person put one pill of type a in the solution then halved the solution and take the half solution on one day and other half on another day.

Answer to second question is 22. There will be delay of around 5 min every time and 24*5=120 min will be reduced so it will cross only 22 times

Answer to the thid question is 2 .First put 3 balls on one side of weighing machine and then some other 3 balls on another side of weighing machine. Two cases can arise now.
Case-I both the sides are equal. In this case the required ball will be among the remaining 2 balls. Now weigh the remaining two balls and you will get the lighter ball.

Case-II one of the side of weighing machine is heavy than the other side. Take the 3 balls from lighter side and take any 2 balls from them. Weight this two balls now if their weight is same then the lighter ball is the third ball and if the weights are different then the ball with the less weight is the required ball.

The answer to fourth question can be that you arrange the box in some order. Now you take one ball from the first box, 2 balls from the second box , 3 balls from third box and continue this process till the 10th box. After that you have to just weigh all those 55 balls that you have collected from 10 boxes. Once you have weight those 55 balls you can tell which box has balls with 9gm weight. This will be done as follows:

If all balls are same then the weight of 55 balls should be 550gm but here all balls are not same so the weight of 55 balls will be less than 550gm. if the first box was the box with 9gm balls then the weight of those 55 balls will be 541gm so you can do simple math like

(550-total weight of 55 balls)/9 the result will be the box having 9gm balls
